Hello,
I've been thinking about this for a while, and here are some games from my era--the '90s, of course 1990 onward, to make an accessable comeback. These were played on Nintendo devices, and some still are. However, I think Mario Cart, Starwars--I think it was the original game--, Piolate Wings, and both Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask--of course, Legend of Zelda--should make accessable comebacks. Of course, since the're on this forum, they should be for iDevices and either Self-voicing or with VO. These games should also have active parts, literally where you get a workout while playing, especially on Piolate Wings and the Zelda games, for sure--using your sword and all, that is. For the Ocarina to play, it can still be buttons to press, I'd think, so what do you all think?

Mario Kart would be very doable
I could easily see Mario Kart working using something similar to that racing game that came out recently. As for the others, I have no idea how you'd make them work, but this lowly web accessibility specialist lacks the creativity required for accessible gaming.
What's the new racing game?
Mario Cart is like all those racing games, and don't hit one of the reverse points. However, of course, I'm talking about in the Nintendo version. What's the new racing game that's out now for iOS? In the Zelda games, you could just tap on the screen for walking and all, of course kinda like "A Blind Legend." However, when using the shooting weapons or sword, one of which is the Master Sword, you would really do that--pulling back on the bow string by pulling your phone toward you and releasing, of course not literally, but pushing the phone in front of you as if to throw it. You could use the gyroscope a bit to find the Skultulas and all enemies, learning the exact same sword strikes as Link does ... literally. They could be shown to you somehow through verbal clues with VoiceOver. I would at least love some part/s of these games to be compatable with iOS devices, phones especially. I'd actually like to know some of those moves, just to know them, wouldn't you? In Piolate Wings, as birdman--which I don't think can automatically be selected--just quickly raise and lower your phone as if you were flapping the wings of the character. However fast you push A--I think it was--on the Nintendo controller is howevre fast the character flaps. You could also take pitures with the onboard camera, of course in the game. I don't know how they'd be described to you later, though. For the rings you have to fly through when in the chopper, I don't know how they'd be audibly notated.
Myst and Riven
I'd love to have an accessible Myst, and its sequel, Riven.
It's not for IOS.
It's the new Forza Motorsport.
Well, don't have a joy stick, so ...
I don't have a joy stick, so I wouldn't be able to play it on my PC. I don't use said device for games either but only my phone.
Totally with you on the '90s games nostalgia!
Totally with you on the '90s games nostalgia! Mario Kart, Star Wars, and the Zelda titles were epic. Bringing them to iDevices with accessibility features and active gameplay would be a dream. I can already imagine swinging a sword in Zelda or flying in Pilotwings while getting a workout. And playing the Ocarina with buttons? Classic yet modern!
What other gems from the '90s should get this treatment? Would love to hear your thoughts!
Final Fantasy
Any of the FF games from ye ole SNES. Oh! And an accessible ChronoTrigger.
I miss the old JRPG games from the 90s. 😅
Donkey Kong ... the '90s version
I think the Donkey Kong from the '90S should be accessable/brought to iOS. Sorry for writing in all caps there, but I would play as either Lanky Kong or Diddy Kong. All the rest of you can have the rest. Also, what about the Tarzan game where you literally had to insert another card into your N64's remote to have bonus content? I never understood that, but some of the movie's soundtrack--the Disney version--was used in the game. If I remmeber correctly, the other actors were there as well, right?
Donkey Kong Country FTW!
Original DKC for the win! You can keep Diddy and Dixie, though. 🐵
