hey everyone! today i want to show you my favorite mobile game inspired by slay the spire and marvel champions. it's called cybercards. the accessibility update is coming next week for sure. the game is already working perfectly, the developer just wants to make some refinements to make it the best experience possible. it has awesome music and sound effects, the map works in a fantastic way, and the best thing is that the game offers so much content for free.

Tutorial won't work well on an iPhone 8+, iOS 16.7.2

The tutorial won't work well where I'm at now. I'm needing to get to my discard pile but cannot as I can't remember where it's located on my iPhone 8+. of course, this phone still has a home button, but ther parts of the tutorial won't work well/couldn't find the "play card" area or the "pay ** area only by touch. I thought this game would be neat for those of us with visual impairments, but it's not turning out that way/have to physically remember a lot of stuff like where the buttons are. You must have to see to play this, so since I cannot ... it's just a load of shenza for now. Of course, that word is for a cuss word in our own world, but shenza comes from a book--Shadow Watch Series, by the way. I'm also using iOS 16.7.2 and not 17 yet due to my older phone. I'll wait for the patch though, seeing if it helps! on Android phones, it seems to as the youtube user pointed out. I'm thinking it's something to do with direct touch--darn that feature. Apple might want to think about putting that on this game--you have to use the normal double-tap and hold to view the card/s info and open the mission statement.

Hello. Everything works great here. Dragging cards work as well as everything else. The play card no matter where you are at on screen is up a bit when you double tap on a card and start dragging up a bit. The discard pile is on the bottom middle of the screen so what I do is if I see a card that's either left or right from the middle, I'll drag down just a tag and then left or right to get to the discard pile. May take a bit but you'll get the hang of it I'm sure. Still quite fun for sure! Seems confusing at first and I'm still figuring things out but it's a great game! HTH for what it's worth. Hmm. perhaps a haptic feedback can be used to let us know when you're at said part while dragging. Might help! Also, no direct touch is used on this at all!

I will definitely have to give this game a try. You said the game will be released next week? Or is it just the patch? I looked for it on the App Store with no luck. So I’m assuming it’s the game that’ll be released next week. OK I actually did find it on the App Store. and I just finished listening to your tutorial, great job by the way! I love the explanation that you give, as well as the game, has some really cool, sound effects and music! Kind of makes me think of the X-Files the show that is.
Running into an issue
Running into an issue, where when I go to a car that I want to drag and drop into the playfield, it’s not working, meaning that the gesture I used to start a dragon drop, doesn’t seem to be available. Also, even when I’m not in my list of cards, I cannot tell where the map is, Hopefully this will be fixed with the patch.

In the video, the tutorial announced that your player was exhausted. However, it doesn't really announce this with VO on my phone. Hopefully, the accessibility patch can fix this.

As I said before, I have a home button on my phone still, so I wonder if that would make a difference in how the discard deck is placed? I still can't find it, and I'm still in the tutorial! I really hope the patch does something as now, I would give the game a bad rating/review!

Do you need to complete the tutorial before starting your campaigns? I've been unlucky with tutorials before and might just do better with the capiaign itself, so is there a close button for not doing the tutorial? Maybe, they should add the tutorial into the first few chapters of your first campaign. I think that'd be much better, with the accessable thing working, of course.

Are you all running the app store version? If so, the patch ain't out yet as far as I know. Works fine here on my phone but using test flight beta. I'm not having half the issues I'm hearing here.

Can you search for the game on Testflight? That's already on my phone, so I hope you can search for apps/games in development? That would be good, but since Cybercards is also already installed, from the store version, can it be downgraded to the beta?
Na you can't search for…
Na you can't search for games on test flight. It's only a beta testing program for apps, not an early access app store hehehe. You'll need the link, of which, I don't have but I can find it for ya if you want. and you're able to upgrade from the app store version to beta if you so choose to do so. I'll get the app store version once everything gets fixed and ready to go. On another note, the dev has just added haptic feedback for dragging. apple has not approved it yet in test flight but once that happens, we'll be testing. This should hopefully help with issues as well. I honestly can't wait to try this as ah, I kind of may or may not be the one who did suggest this to the dev about adding this into the game.

Thank you so much Matus for posting the TestFlight link. I also believe that somebody asked on here a few posts back, if they install the TestFlight version, could they do that? And answer to your question yes. I myself installed the TestFlight version and asked me if I wanted to override the App Store version. I just hit yes. I’m assuming the same will happen once the App Store is updated. so if we just click on that one, it’ll ask the same as far as we want to override this one.
Having trouble dragging the cards

This game looks awesome but I am stuck in the tutorial. I am at the point where I need to drag a card to continue. How is this done? I have checked my rotor options, double tapped and held then dragged with no response. Please help!!!

If you are using the official app on the App Store, it does have an accessibility issue, where, dragging and dropping does not work. According to posts on this topic, the update which will fix these and improve Accessibility should be released sometime next week. In the meantime, there is a TestFlight link a few posts back.
Trouble dragging cards
Thank you for the suggestion. I forgot to mention in my previous post that I was running the testflight version and still having difficulties. Is it similar to the way we needed to rearrange apps on our home screens before it was added to the rotor or is there something else I'm missing?

hey everyone! the main idea of the testflight betas was to make the best possible experience for all players. so after 22 beta versions i believe we got there. it's just not on the official app store yet because the developer is still adding new stuff. for example:
yesterday he added haptic feedback when voiceover is on and you move between targets while dragging.
he said he still wants to add one more accessibility improvement this week.
to drag cards make sure you're making the initial movement in a vertical way, meaning either up or down. if you try to drag it directly sideways it isn't going to work. when it's dragging, you will hear the message - dragging card.
you don't have to finish the tutorial to start the campaign. but it's fully playable and recommended to understand how the game works

I am still unable to get this to work. I am using my iPhone 12 running iOS 17.1 and have just updated to the latest version from testflight. In the tutorial it asks me to drag a card from my hand and move it to the opponents. Which card should I try and drag? I feel like I tried all of them and none of them worked. When I double tap and hold the screen then slide up or down I get no feedback haptic or verbal. Nothing seems to happen and I am unable to get to the next button to advance the tutorial. Thanks for any help.

Strange, dragging in tutorial and in the main game does indeed work. Just checked with latest build this morning and haptics work too! Double tap and hold on the card you're focused on, wait for the sound and then start dragging either up or down. You should hear that you're dragging your card.

Yes, I had the official App Storre version, but now that I have the beta in Testflight, it works just as the part/s in the video did. However, I'm still not sure whether to use resources first off or what when in "new campaign." Also, how many cards should I have in my hand/how to draw one from the deck? How many should I have in my deck? Of course, my hand size is six, but I normally don't see that many cards in the hand.

Difficulties playing cards
Hi,
I still can not play the tutorial and drag cards but am able to do so in the game. My problem now is that when I drag a card and move it over the card area and let go it asks if I want to pay 3 for this card and says cancel. When I double tap it cancels the move. How do I tell it I want to play the card, pay 3 if you will and continue? Thanks for any help. I am running the latest testflight version as of this morning.

hey! in order to play a card you must pay its cost. to do it, you must drag other cards from your hand to the playing field. if you tap where it says pay x for a card, cancel it'll cancel the move. the credits displayed on each card mean how much they will generate to pay for other cards. think of it like some kind of energy required. almost everything has a cost, that's part of the sqrathgy of the game. what are you going to sacrifice in order to attack deffend and counter the rival's mission.

One ability I found
One ability I found, is that I can pick between a standard deck, or a customizable deck. Even though I haven’t managed to beat even the first fight, I am having a really good time playing it.
Inside Job and how to counter it?

Currently, I'm on the first boss, but whenever they play "Inside job," I cannot discard a card in play, so how to do this? I cannot move on with the campaign without doing this, so is there a way to reverse the action of my rival playing "Inside job?" Also, how to appropriately use "Trogen Horse," and attach upgrades to troops? Still wish the tutorial was actually inside the first campaign, fully, that is. I think that would be so much better than the way it is now. I really don't want to start a new campaign, but if I have to, all my money will be gone? What are A and S in the end of a won battle with rewards?
