Hello everyone. Is there an easy way I can put text on my lock screen. I would like it to be a quote of my choosing. There are widgets out there that will put random ones on the lock screen for you but I would like to place any text on my choosing
Any suggestions?

I used to do this.
If you add a reminder for say 8am to repeat every day with the text of your quote as the reminder then just don’t dismiss or mark it complete. It will be there every time you unlock your phone.
Great idea! Thank you
I will give this a try!
Can't we do that without the app name?
Can't we display something as text only, not as a notification with an app name, time and notification sound? I just want to be able to display or pin something to my lock screen like the date and time.
this would be ideal
if anyone has any other ideas i would be intristed
Screenshot as wallpaper?
Could you type the text in big letters then make a screen shot of it and use it as your locked screen wallpaper?
I would like it to be voiceover accessible
This is a good suggestion for someone who has low vision, but I can’t see the screen
Same here; am totally blind.
Suggesting something like that when you're visually-impaired yourself and address other visually-impaired folks may not be the best thing to do. It should be clear enough that I just want to have something as plain text on my lock screen; not a photo.
Lock Screen
I think the previous poster might be saying that if there was text on the wallpaper, Voiceover would read it, since it usually does with text in images these days.
I haven't actually tried it. My suggestion is a notes app of some sort that lets you have a lock screen widget. I know Drafts, for example, has a widget type that just lets you display a Draft. Set that up as a lock screen widget, put the quote you want in a Draft and edit the widget to display that Draft.
There are probably apps that can do the same, possibly even Notes, although I haven't checked.
