Hi, I just downloaded the Musescore app to try out have trouble passing beyond the continue button. Is this not any accessible for iOS users? Any suggestion for solutions?
The Windows and Mac versions are fairly accessible, but I had to request a refund after downloading the iOS version and realizing it was not accessible enough.
I thought Muse Score was a free app. I use it on Windows and have downloaded it with no cost from the Apple app store for iOS.
Unfortunately I have never been able to get past the introductory screens in iOS since double tapping on the continue or next elements (which are not even labeled as buttons) does anything. I've reported this to the developers months and months ago, but nothing has changed.
Anyway, this is a great and fairly accessible program on both Windows and Macs. From what I understand from the developers, the iOS version is very different and doesn't have the same capabilities to edit and arrange music as the PC and Mac versions. Would be nice if it did. My understanding is that the iOS version is mostly for listening to and viewing scores.
Hopefully with more feedback from this community the developers can make this more accessible and functional for iOS devices.
When the next update to Muse Score comes out later this year, Muse Score should work considerably better with JAWS. It is actually useable now with JAWS but often gives too much feedback. In addition, some edit fields do not work properly, but there are usually ways of getting around that.
So, stay tuned!
As for iOS, my understanding is that even sighted people aren't able to use the iOS version as they would the desktop version because the app is designed entirely differently and doesn't have much of the functionality of the desktop version.

The Windows version does not work with Jaws
Hi,
If you want to use the Windows app, you must use it With NVDA.
It does not work with Jaws.
I found some scripts online, but they were quite old.
