iPod classic

So the ipod classic is now the only apple device left that's completely inaccessible with no VoiceOver. Anyone have any insight as to why this is and if apple will ever change this? Its the ipod with the biggest memory capacity and to me seems simpler than the touch screen devices so surely wouldn't be any harder for them to add VoiceOver to... If they released one with VoiceOver support I'd be straight in there! Anyone has any knowledge on this that I'm missing I'd be very interested!

which is why I have a classic plus an iTell device to make it usable. My guess is the touch wheel thingy is not very suitable for running voice over, and I doubt there is enough computing power inside of a classic.
Although apple still sells this product, I don't think it is going to be updated any time soon. It has a special niche market, and is becoming less popular to the average consumer, instead they're opting to market the iTuches and nanos. This device, however still fills a gap in the market for people who want to carry 160GB of content around with them and the layout of the menus can be memorized with audible clicks turned on, and either guess work, or having someone sited read the menu layout for you.
