iOS beta, Siri voices keep disappearing

Apple Beta Releases

Hi friends.
Is it because I'm under a French iOS version, my English Siri voice keeps being wiped out from my iPhone, no matter how many times I tried to download it, since I installed public beta 17.1. French voice doesn't do that, so I wonder. Does anyone have this issue?
Thanks for your help.

Hi, I think from my own expeerience the native siri voice i.e for you French stays. However, anytime you make any update so say iOS 17.1.1 or a security update then Siri voices that are not your native ones disappear. Strange behaviour to be honest. Maybe other people have other ideas but that seems to me to be what happens.

Hi Lee. Thanks for your reply, but not only do they disappear after an update, which is already strange and doesn't happen with official releases, but they also disappear after a day or two I re-downloaded them, even if I didn't do any update at all. So the problem is somewhere else I'm afraid.

Hello,
what's your phones system language? Is it a problem that only occurs with other voices than the default one? I'm surprised that French never disappears in my case.
We may have a lead here.

I am so glad I found this thread. I am using the duo lingo app, so have the Spanish ?Spain siri female voice set up in my VO roter because it makes things a bit easier. When I went to do my lesson today, the voice had changed to Monica, AKA Samantha's Spanish counterpart. I have redownloaded the siri voice for now, but from what I'm reading here, it probably won't stick around. Not a huge deal; I'd honestly be content to use the Mexican Spanish voice, Angelica, but unless I'm missing something, which is entirely possible, Duo Lingo won't acknowledge that one as a valid option for auto language switching purposes. If there's anything I can do to change that,I wouldn't be worried about this Siri issue, but as things stand, I suppose I'll just keep downloading Spanish Siri as needed.

I use the male Irish siri voice for my actual Siri, and so far, he hasn't disappeared. I don't use him for VO or anything like that, just strictly as my Siri voice. No clue if that tells us anything or not.

I've now experienced this the 4th time.
Suddenly all SIRI voices is auto deleted except the voice also used by SIRI itself.
My system language is Norwegian and I had Norwegian SIRI 1 as VoiceOver voice and Voice 2 as SIRI voice.
I also had UK SIRI voice 3 and U.S. 4 in my language rotor.
All SIRI voices suddenly just disappeared except Norwegian SIRI 2 and I guess that's because it is in use by SIRI.
So, the three SIRI voices I had set up for VoiceOver was just replaced by the default Norwegian compact voice, UK Daniel and U.S. Samantha.
I guess if I configure SIRI and VoiceOver to use the same voice I most likely avoid that voice to be auto deleted at least.

Hi there.
Well, I figured the best cure for this problem for the moment is to give up Siri voices except for your system language. So for English, I downloaded US Ava, and it will be there for ever.

I now have Norwegian SIRI voice 1 both as VoiceOver voice and as SIRI voice (system language = Norwegian).
I replaced UK SIRI 3 in my language rotor with Jamie Premium and still debating Ava or Tom as the U.S. voice to replace U.S. SIRI 4.
I'm really tired of re-downloading SIRI voices.
Hahahaha.
