Since I had the same problem just now I'm cappable of giving you an answer. :-) When in the App store on your Ipad On the top of the screen you click on "Ipad apps" you should get a popup menu where you can choose Iphone. tap on that. You should get a list with all the apps you have on your phone, lost cities included. If you haven't gotten it yet you can search for it like with any other app.

App crashing with latest iOS update
Hi,
Has anyone else been experiencing Lost Cities crashing when trying to enter an existing game? This has been happening to me with iOS 10.3.1 on an iPhone 6S. It actually started on 10.3, but is continuing with the latest software update. When I enter the game and sit in the main menu, it's fine. When I double-tap continue or next player to enter one of my games, the app crashes completely and it takes me back to the home screen of my phone. I turned off Voiceover immediately after entering one of my games as a test, and the app didn't crash. I know this because the music still played. As soon as I turned on Voiceover, though, the app crashed again. This test was repeated several times with the same results. I can't play without Voiceover, so this is really unfortunate. I thought maybe it had something to do with the music volume and Voiceover not being able to work together, so I lowered the music volume completely. No dice. The app still crashes. I have three or four games waiting to be played, and I can't get to them. Please help!
Lost Cities broken under iOS 13.0
Lost Cities is one of my favorite iPhone games! Reluctantly, I upgraded to iOS 13.0, this evening, and fount that when VoiceOver is on, Lost Cities is broken! It works fine, when VoiceOver is turned off.
The Problem: Double tap a card that you wish to play or discard, and nothing changes on the screen. Usually, the options of "play" or "disczard" would appear, and after choosing one, it would be possible the double tap the button showing the number of cards left to draw, and get your next card, or choose from the discard pile.
I suspect that this is a VoiceOver issue/bug that will show up in other apps, but Apple Accessibility insists that the dev just has to update the game. What changed in VoiceOver from 12.4 and 13.0 that could cause this issue?
This has been a great accessible game for many years, and is an addiction for many of us. I will write to the dev, and hope that they can take the time to troubleshoot the issue.
Very disappointed,
Diane
A workaround
I noticed this as well, but there is a workaround for this issue, even thogh it makes gameplay a little slower. Instead of double-tapping on the card you want to play or discard, perform the pass-trough gesture, that is, double-tap and hold on the card, then, if you want to play it, slide your finger up towards the middle of the screen or higher; if you want to discard it (and that is the trickyer part) slide it until about a third off the screen, where the discard piles are located.
It takes a bit of practice to work through this, but at least it makes the game playable. Though it would be better if the developer fixed the menu issue, but at least we can continue playing this awesome game.
Hope this helps!
What response if any did you
What response if any did you get back from the dev? I remember they were very good at fixing issues, but I have not played the game since about 2014 or so.
So, I tried to find contact
So, I tried to find contact for the dev and cannot find any to let them know about this issue. The last time I think this was updated was sometime in 2016 so unless this app were abandoned I dunno. The site you click on takes me to a place where they talk about exploring lost cities, not the card game. I don't quite get it.
Bleh, I still can't get the
Bleh, I still can't get the work around to work. I drag the card to the bottom half of the screen andit never discards. I have to drag up a bit but I end up disgarding the wrong card.
Version 1.90
Looks like the developers are still alive and kicking—the latest update seems to have fixed all VoiceOver-related issues.
RE: Version 1.90
Thanks for the update. Can't wait to play again.
