Hi,
Just experienced a very strange bug that caused me to have to restart my phone.
I callled a friend on FaceTime Audio and they were not available. After the call rang out, the ‘(Name) FaceTime Unavailable’ screen popped up, with the options to cancel, call back etc. When I tried to cancel it, I double tapped and nothing happened, though the double tap sound played. The same thing happened with Message and Call Back. I could not get to the Home Screen, app switcher, control centre, Notification Centre or lock my screen. I also could not turn off voiceover, and nothing happened when I pressed and held the Lock Screen and up volume button to power the phone off.
When I received another call, I could decline it but was taken to the ‘Call declined’ screen, where the same but was happening. I could swipe but not activate anything, and couldn’t do anything else. I ended up having to restart my phone.
I have an iPhone 14, running the latest iOS. Has anyone had the same bug?

Off and on for years.
Sometimes just turning voiceover off and on will get it.
Turning on and off VoiceOver
Unfortunately, when I’m stuck in the screen, I can’t even turn VoiceOver off and on again. I can’t lock my screen; using the shortcut doesn’t work and I also can’t ask Siri because that doesn’t work either.
I lock my screen, swear a few times, then unlock.
I encounter this bug a lot, especially when wearing AirPods for some reason. My solution is to just lock the phone, wait a few seconds and unlock it again, this often fixes things for me.
