Be my ai, wow

I just got access to be my AI. I tested that. Here’s what it said

The picture seems to be taken from a low angle, looking upwards. In the foreground, there is a hand holding a yellow object, possibly a toy block. The person is wearing a red shirt. There is also a glimpse of a leg or arm in the bottom right corner. In the background, there is a grayish fabric, possibly a piece of clothing or a blanket. Further back, there is a wooden structure, possibly a part of furniture, and a white wall with a black round object, which could be a speaker, mounted on it. There is also an electrical outlet on the wall. The image is a bit cluttered and taken from an unusual angle

This is incredibly amazing and I can’t wait to test it out more
And it actually got everything correct. Considering this is only an iPhone 6s Plus I’m incredibly amazed of how well the camera quality and picture quality and how well it got it!

As far as I know, there is no way to show pictures from our galleries. Everything else is cool though.

That is not exactly true. You "can" share the images you take, it just takes a few extra steps.
Follow these steps exactly.

1. Open the Be My Eyes app.
2. Make sure the "Be My AI" tab is selected.
3. Take a picture of whatever's clever.
4. Once it does its magic hat trick and gives its initial description, flick to the right until you find the "Ask More" button. Double tap this.
5. Now you will be on the screen where you can ask things like a chat interface. When you first land here, you "should" immediately hear your initial description that you heard on the previous screen. If you flick "left", you should hear something labeled as "your message, image". Continue on to step 6.
6. If you use the iOS image recognition feature, you will get a brief image description, but if you activate your rotor, set it to Action, then flick down until you get to "copy", you can copy that image and send it via text, email, or whatever's clever.

HTH and apologies for not having a one-button fix for you all. 😅

I ment uploading an existing photo, rather than taking one. Sharing is not a problem.

If you mean getting an image e.g. in your gallery or on the Internet described, you can do that. Get to the "share sheet" (e.g. by triple-tapping the image and choosing "share") and look for "describe with Be My Eyes".

Ok, if I misread your post then my mistake. Having said that, what do you mean exactly by uploading your own photos from your photo gallery? I am only asking for clarification here, so bare with me, but if you mean uploading your own (as in already existing photos) so Be My AI can describe them, that is already included in the app, you just don't need to open Be My Eyes for it; rather open any one of your photos and choose Share > Describe with Be My Eyes.
Alternatively, after you do that, you can copy the text of the description it gives you, add it to the existing photo in your gallery as a "caption" and send it along to your blind friends. 😎

Just providing options. HTH.

I was under the impression that everything had to be done from within the app itself. No wonder.

I have the "Be My Eyes" app and cannot yet get access to a "Be My AI" tab, within the application. Is this available yet in the United Kingdom? I'm sure that all my apps are up-to-date. Many thanks.

Hi Charlie. It's not you. It just takes time for the feature to be accessed by users. I was given a little earlier access then I expected. Just keep an eye out, no pun intended. sorry... lmao

Hi. Yes the be my AI feature is quite amazing. I have a picture of me with my cat that my partner took and be my AI described that very well. It is very detailed and accurate. I also took a picture of the TV because the TV wasn't booting up normally. The picture wasn't the greatest picture according to be my AI. I got the gist of the text on the TV and reset the TV and all was well. On a hilarious note, I can't take pictures very well and be my AI thinks my cat is adorable. :)
