A program to calculate borrowed amounts

Friends,
I am currently using a note-taking app on my phone to track my expenses. However, sometimes a client will pay me a certain amount and then withdraw it in installments. I currently calculate this manually by subtracting the amount withdrawn from the original amount.
Is there a program that can do this task? It should also be able to track any outstanding debts that I owe.
or, there is a way that i can do this inside the notes app itself?

So this is more of a suggestion than a definitive answer, but have you considered importing a spreadsheet with formulas into a note? Seems like that could resolve your issue.

If you are unfamiliar with spreadsheets, just know that you can have a mathematical formula at the end of a row or column, and whatever numbers you add into each cell leading to it, can be automatically calculated as you add/remove number values.

HTH. 😃

I tried doing this inside a spread sheet, but i need a quick way to read the last column,
so, if i do not know how many cells will i use,
how can i put the final result on another place that Can easily be read with Voice over?

Regarding navigation, I am only aware of keyboard/VO hotkeys to get around the cells/rows/columns quickly.
Regarding location of formula, you can actually have the formula cell be just about anywhere, you just have to code it to know what cells to calculate. i.e. you could theoretically have cell A1 be your "Results" while the numbers to be calculated are in the 4th column, which would be "D" typically.

So, to give a little more explanation, if you were to:
1. Click The first cell of the first row and column, this would typically be "A1".
2. Inside that cell type "SUM(D)" (without quotes).
3. Navigate over to the 4th row, typically "D".
4. Add numeric values inside each row (use however many you need).
5. Cell A1 will automatically add the numbers up as you type.
6. Just update the number values as needed, or replace with a 0 if say, you had a cell with $40.50 and it all was used.

Anyways, I hope this is useful for you. 😅

ok will try to do this.
but will it be easy to edit it inside the notes? specially on IOS?

Possibly, if Notes lets you use spreadsheet functionality within the app. 🤷🏻‍♂️
