Hello all! I’ve been having a weird issue for the last few days, and I’m not sure if it’s just me or what. I have a couple different email apps on my iPad seventh generation. I have, the Gmail app, Outlook, which I’m still getting the hang of how to use, and, the Apple Mail app. They are all tied to the same email account, which is my Gmail account. When ever I get an email, usually, my Gmail Ap will go off, and then, so will my Outlook app. But lately, they haven’t been going off. Only way I know I get emails, is that I go check it. Or, if one of my VIPs sends me an email, then I get notified in my Apple Mail app. But that’s it. Otherwise, it’s just me going in and checking it. Which I do regularly. But it does help to know when I do receive emails. Because, I am involved in a lot of different advocacy work/activities, with a few different organizations! Is anyone else having this issue? this happens even when I don’t have the focus is on. Because, it also happens when I have my meeting. Focus on. Which I have set, to let emails from my Gmail app, be notified. I have it set so that my Apple Mail app will notify me as well. But basically, in general, in my meeting, focus, along with several other applications, I have email set for notifications for that to be allowed. And I don’t get anything, unless I check it. thanks for working OK one day. And then they just decided one day they didn’t want to work. Everything is up-to-date, including the iPadOS, and all of the apps, Gmail, and outlook. So, any help you can give is greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance. :-)

Q&A
Hi,
You said that, at one point, they were all working, but now are not.. or are not as expected? When was the last time they worked as intended? More importantly, what version of iPad OS were you running when it 'did' work?
Have you tried going into Settings > Mail > Accounts > 'Fetch New Data'? Same for the Gmail and Outlook apps?
Have you tried changing your notifications for the mail apps from banners to alerts to see if that gives you any improved results? And finally, do you have VO setup to 'Always Speak Notifications'?

Having the same issue with Apple mail on my iPhone 13
Hi. I only recently returned to using my iPhone, so I’m not precisely sure when it started. I believe it started after the last iOS 16 update. In my case, Apple Mail is the only male client I am using. This is happening on an iPhone 13 running iOS 16.6.
Alternative suggestion
Try the following and let us know if you have any success:
1. On your iPhone, go to Settings > Mail.
2. Go to accounts, then navigate to the bottom where it reads "Fetch or Push.
3. Change your Fetch schedule from "automatic" to every 15, 30, or 60 minutes. Note that last one will just read as every hour.

As far as I've used the iPhone
I am not getting any mail notifications ever since I have used the iPhone witch was in 2019.
I have tried every single ways which one of the commenter have posted, however, nothing seems to be working. I had to use the Gmail app in order to get the notification on my iPhone, which I do not like either.
Notifications in iPhones and iPads turned off by default
At some point, Apple made some changes where the notifications are actually not being announced on purpose. Try this:
Customize your Mail notifications on your iPhone or iPad
In the Settings app, tap Mail.
Tap Notifications.
Tap Customize Notifications.
Tap the email account.
Turn on the settings that you want, like Alerts or Badges.
Also, as per my usual push, I highly recommend that you call Apple accessibility directly. 1-877-204-3930.
Custom notifications what’s the solution.
Thanks. When I went into customize notifications, I noticed my Gmail account was configured to only provide badges. Once I enable sounds and banners, it’s now working correctly with Apple mail.
Mine haven't worked ever since I got my 13 mini.
I did everything Apple Accessibility advised and nothing has worked.
