Problem with sending iMessages do you want email address?

Hey, someone of the awesome members here sent me a message with his email. I copied it into iMessage, and sent him a message. However, it automatically went to little scent failure,. My iPad detects that it’s an iMessage but it just won’t send through to the email address.. My iMessage is working fine other than that. Any suggestions please? running iPadOS 16.6 on an iPad six generation

Turn off iMessage, turn off the pad then turn it and the message on. Other then that, Try pressing send again. I sent you my email in the last post.

Hi Dominic,

I posted this in your other thread, but I will reiterate here. There is a possibility that the person you are trying to iMessage has their iMessage setup to block anyone iMessaging their email account. If that is the case, there is really nothing you can do, as it is a preferential setting, not a bug or glitch. 🫤

That was me. It helps if you have email address turned on. Oops I didn't. Try again.
