First off, I'm so sorry for your loss. I've heard good things about Insight Timer and Ten Percent Happier. In addition, I tried out the free version of Calm but didn't find it that accessible with VoiceOver. That was about 4 years ago so things have probably improved. Hth and good luck. Once again I'm so sorry for your loss. She will be deeply missed.

What about Finch? I know it has its quirks. But, it might be a good idea. Also, I'd look on your music/streaming apps and see if there's any podcasts on depression, grief, etc. I'm so sorry for your loss.

My noise is great for calming/relaxing sounds/streams of noise. I find it quite useful for getting to sleep sometimes.

hello,

first off, I am so so so sorry for your loss. an App I use which helps me calm down is Naturespace. it is free, but has some in-ap pirchases to make use of it. the best bank for your buck is the complete collection. I got it on sail do to the pendemic for 12.99 canadian down from $50.00 canadian. there are lots of books on Apple Books on grief which may help you. when I grieve, a book which helps is On Grief and greeving by Elizabeth Cooper Ross. it discusses the five stages of grief in great detail. another is Anxiety, the missing stage of grief. still another is the grief recovery workbook. good luck, and hope those will help your natueal emotions and feelings flow. cry as often and long as nessessary. it releases feelings and makes you feel better overall. tell siri to open Books, and go to the tab called search at the bottom.

Finding out you so sadly lost your mum keeps coming back to me again and again this evening. I remember you e-mailed me a while ago about something unrelated and I can’t help thinking you might have needed someone to talk to. If you have everyone you need and are doing as well as you can considering whats happened then please accept my deepest thoughts and condolences but if you could do with someone to speak to then you have my e-mail address. If you need anything at all. Just someone to speak to or something else, just send me a e-mail any time at all. You can also iMessage or FaceTime audio me on andylanesemail@gmail.com The same address. You must be going through so much these last few weeks. If I can help in any way, just get in touch.

Take care of yourself. Stay close to whoever is caring for you. The comment above is so true. Cry when you need to and remember you have a community of friends here.

There's tonnes of calming music/sleep stories on there.

No matter if it's an app or a person you just cry with, do what makes you feel as better as you can. As posted on another thread, I'm so sorry. You shouldn't have lost your Mom so soon. i hate being a member of this club, you are far to young to be in it. I know i can be a bit annoyed with you but I'm sorry if I ever honestly offended you. If you need anything contact me off site.
