Why doesn't anyone talk about Waze GPS?

Hello, dear companions. I would like to know why the Waze app was practically forgotten by the blind, including in this community? I say this because it is a fantastic application, it was acquired by Google and has numerous accessibility problems that should be discussed by this community and brought to the attention of Google for resolution. I can't understand why the interface is impossible for VoiceOver users. I also don't understand why the last post about this app here in the community was in 2010. Let's take this further, I've already done some reviews on the App Store, but a swallow just doesn't make summer

Frankly, I don't talk about it *because* it's owned by Google. I avoid their services/products as much as I possibly can.
But also, its primary draw is its ability to report live traffic. Given blind people really don't drive, that essentially makes it useless, and you may as well just use Google Maps at that point anyway.

I understand your considerations, my friend. But about avoiding Google products, possibly because of privacy, it is difficult to escape from this internet monster, in addition to the fact that they are generally very accessible applications. About the use of Waze GPS for accident reporting, don't forget that it can also be used for walking navigation, has a lot of functionality and could be a great alternative

Perhaps you could do a podcast and talk about the issues iwth it. Never seen a post on it. I do not think I had heard of it here. Do know about it because a writer that I like sometimes mention it because a character was using it. Did not even know anything about the use or accessibility.
