Hello.
When setting up a new iPhone we are presented with suggestion to transfer data from old iPhone to a new one. During that proccess there is a step that requires capturing screen of the old iPhone with the new device. So I am wondering if it is at all accessible&& or restoring form a backup is the only way to go for us?
Thank you very much in advance!

I would try it out. Place…
I would try it out. Place the phones like a stack and then put up the phone at the top (should be the old if I remember right, because the old phone scans the code from the new) but keep the position. If it's not working, try to change the position a bit. I've done the Watch setup with the camera scan and it worked very well with this technique. After a few seconds, the phone found the code and the setup process began.
Setup manually
At least the last time I had to migrate from one iPhone to another, there was a "Setup manually" button that when double-tapped, allowed the two devices to authenticate with a code rather than the camera.
HTH
setup manually
do the manual setup it will pull everything over just fine.
Manual setup
I've used the "Manual Setup" twice in the past several migrations (from a 5S to an SE in May of 2018, and from that SE to an SE 2020 in June of 2020), and the process went very smoothly! Good luck!
Thanks everyone
