Looking for advice/assist w/iPhone app issue.
Using iPhone 10, running IOS 16.6 & Voice Over.
Recently updated to latest version of Chase Bank app.
Able to navigate Chase home screen & receive feedback on account name, balance, etc. on screen.
When selecting account & double tapping to enter area for transaction information though, nothing happens.
Actually, focus moves away to different account on Chase home screen.
According to Chase, nobody has reported this issue.
Got rep to test for problem. No issue using iPhone 14. Asked to have them test on iPhone 10.
Rep informed reproduced problem on their “test” iPhone 10. However, instructed I have Apple resolve as only happening on iPhone 10. They believe it’s Apple Voice Over issue.
Contacted Apple Accessibility & as expected, Apple indicated issue with app, not Voice Over.
So I’m in middle with no assist.
Anybody else using iPhone 10 & Chase app having this problem? If so, please report to Chase Bank Tech Support.
Also, would appreciate hearing any “work around” (other than using website on Safari or other browser) people might have for this issue.
Thank you.

Apps will sometimes develop strange behaviors if they've been installed for a long time. Try uninstalling and re-downloading the app.

Any telephone or tech representative that tries to push the issue as being an apple problem has no idea what they’re talking about and is not reliable. I would hang up the phone and call back and speak to another representative. Always delete the application and reinstall it. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, then it’s a bug. Especially if it did not exist prior to the most recent app software release. Unfortunately, this is one of those issues where you have to call and call and call and call and call and call and call and call and call repeatedly until they take it seriously enough to fix it.
