The Accessible Healthcare Lab (PI: Dr. Soyoung Choi) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is looking research participants for the healthcare research. The primary goal of our research is to gain valuable insights into the usability, accessibility, and overall user experience of Apple Watch for individuals with visual impairments. By examining the challenges and benefits blind users encounter while interacting with the device, we aim to enhance the accessibility features and functionality of Apple Watch for this user group. We would like to invite blind users to participate in this study, which will involve one time interview conducted remotely via video calls or phone calls. The interviews will be designed to gather blind users' personal experiences, opinions, and suggestions regarding the Apple Watch and its accessibility features. Any individuals who are interested in please contact Dr. Soyoung Choi (soyoung@illinois.edu) at 217-402-4128.

Hello.
Is this a compensated study, or a volunteer study?

Wow do you have brass nuts or something? I at least politely asked in the email if this was a study with compensation. Even if it is not, I'd at least do it as it's using the apple watch, an understudied technological device if ever we saw one. Wow! Dude.
