Hello,
I am wondering if anyone has noticed any changes in BARDmobile when using a refreshable braille display? I am confused on how to set up my braille settings. Should they be on computer braille? I think the latest update changed some of the available braille codes, but I am not sure. Anyone who can explain how to set up my braille display for BARD, I would appreciate it!

I recently received my HumanWare eReader from NLS, and I cannot get BARD to work on there either. I'm wondering if it's because of the BARD website upgrade that is going on? I'll have to look into this a bit further when I have more time, but that seems to me like at least one logical explanation. I've tried NFB Newsline on my eReader and it works fine. However, I'm confused as to how the heck to connect the thing to my Mac and/or iPhone so I can use it to type stuff. This might be something else to consider. I know for a fact that my device works, as I've been able to do a little bit on it. I'm told the on-board user guide is a bit vague though, which seems to be true. I'm glad I'm not the only one who is having trouble with this! Perhaps we should give NLS more time to sort these issues out though with the respective manufacturers, since this is still a pilot project. I for one, haven't finished all the audio material on my current? wish list.

Not sure if this is available in all states. But NLS has it's own E reader for reading braille books
downloaded from BARD.

I just emailed about this yesterday and I have to wait another year, no! to get it. Hopefully I'll get the Humanware one as I don't know but I kinda want that one with no clear reasoning as to why that verses the other one.
