See what real fans have said in our 5-star app reviews: "This app is great, 9 times out of 10 I get updates from BR before the ESPN app."“Wow - I'm just blown away by how good this is! The stream is awesome, and the breaking news is dead on. So much better than trying to follow multiple teams on ESPN. NICE JOB FELLAS!”“SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!! - As soon as I got the app and added my local team, I got breaking news from my team before they broke the news on a local sports talk radio that I listen at work every day. From that moment I fell in love with the app!!! Awesome app, I recommend it to every sports fan!!!!!”“Great app - Instead of having to go to multiple sites, I get a quick fix on my favorite teams with just this one.”Awesome! - Best sports app there is! I love the team feature. I used to watch espn daily but now with this app I haven't watched in over two weeks. All the news is fast and to the minute. Bye-bye espn.“Perfect - Get all your local teams big news in your notification center. How awesome!!!!!” “Great App!! - This app is very useful for breaking news and interesting tidbits from my teams. Being separated from home sports city makes it tough to get a ton of info on just a couple teams I want to follow, better than twitter only sports related updates.” Feedback? Accessibility Comments

This application is extremely accessible! However, this app features slideshow articles. These also used to be accessible in previous versions, like 2.6 and up. But since 2.7, they have gone to a weird style of displaying them. In previous versions, there was a button that you double tapped that said next slide or prev slide whichever the case may be. Now, in 2.7.1, it only says 1 of x. X represents how many slides are in the article. This app would be completely accessible if the developer would go back to whatever they were doing in 2.6.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads most page elements.

Button Labeling

All buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

There are some minor accessibility issues with this app, but they are easy to deal with.

Other Comments

Very well put together sports app. There is just that one difficulty with the slideshow buttons being inaccessible. Other than that, I would highly reccomend this app.

Hi. Regarding the slideshow articles which you mention as being inaccessible, if you're talking about what I think you are, then they are actually accessible. If you put VoiceOver focus on it, you just swipe left and right with three fingers to cycle through the articles. Hope this helps, maybe worth editing the post, unless I've misunderstood you of course :) The developer has reached out to us on this site and is very responsive so do get in touch with them if you've any suggestions or issues.

I am a long time user of this app, and love it, but do find parts of it inaccessible or very difficult to navigate. When I receive a push notification and want to read the article a lot of times I get stuck in the likes, FB, Twitter, and Comments section. I have contacted the developer about making the app either more accessible or a smoother flow with voiceover, and they got back to me very quickly, and have been very responsive to take into consideration voiceover in future updates to the app. I have had a very nice dialogue with them, and would suggest others contact the developers through the app to let them know about the issues they have had. Team Stream is a fantastic app, and they have been interested in learning more about accessibility which is much much more than I could say for ESPN who I have contacted for years, and they could care less about the blind or anyone with disabilities. Yes, I have supported the ESPN caompaign of the month, but I doubt ESPN will change a thing, as they have proven to me that they just don't care.
Hey all, I wanted to pass along the latest info I got from the developer's of Team Stream, and this news should excite any sports fan about their upcoming app update. We are busily preparing the 2.8 release of TeamStream. Our goal is to submit it this Friday, which means it will hopefully be available for download around August 16. I have added some code that I hope will make it easier for VoiceOver users to go directly to the articles associated with push notifications. Please try it out when 2.8 becomes available, and let me know if it is better, and what else we can do to enhance your experience!
I am very happy to report that in the latest update 2.8 Team Stream now works perfectly with Voiceover. While I haven't used every feature in this fantastic app. I am happy to report the developer has made fantastic improvements with Voiceover. I was able to quickly jump around my streams and get right to the article content. I was also able to add players to the new fantasy football stream just in time for football season. Kudos on a job well done, and considering how responsive Team Stream has been to improving Voiceover, it might be time to consider them for the App of the month, as I believe they now be the most accessible sports app out there.

This app's entry in the AppleVis database needs to be updated. The app was rebranded as Bleacher Report back in April, when version 5.0 was released. It is still very accessible.
