I'll still be using reddit.
But would be interested to know how many people left vs stayed.
I wonder if reddit will go down after a year or so because of the thousands leaving along with their subs?

I highly doubt that a few days of blackouts will kill Reddit. Most sighted people will continue to use it. However, I am curious if r/hpfanfiction will be part of the blackout. That's where I mainly spend my time. Shutting down a sub for a few days won't solve anything.
If we look at the Twitter saga, we can see that many people left Twitter and migrated to Mastodon. Personally, I haven't left Twitter, but I don't check it as often as I used to because the site and app are difficult to navigate. Having promoted tweets every 2 or 3 tweets doesn't help either.
I understand the need for ads, but when they start to overwhelm screen reader users, it becomes a problem.
