In my opinion, I think it would be cool.
I could use Windows 10 sounds or something
I hope sooner or later Apple can put this in its technology.
What do you guys think?

Audex for Android does exactly this. the open nature of that system means third-party developers have access to things not even thought of. it would be cool, and it all ready exsists for Jailbroken devices. the Cidia tweaknis called iSounds. years ago, there was a podcast demonstraiting this rather need tweak on this site

When it comes up where third party apps are allow, I will not do so unless they are in the app store. iPhone do not have viruses and third party apps will probably give you one.

I've been sideloading for years and never once gotten a virus to my knowledge. It's one of the best things about android for me. You're much more likely to get a virus from an email or web site, apple marketing be damned.

I have no issues apple doing it. I like my privacy.

I also like my privacy, I use signal, a vpn sometimes and even the tor browser for some things. I think that's a very different conversation though. If you use a computer, either windows or MAC, and have installed any programs from anywhere other than the MAC app store or Microsoft store (including NVDA or jaws, since they come from the internet not an app store) I have a hard time taking this argument seriously. We have solid antivirus software for our big computers and I also have it on my pocket computer, though it's never actually found anything there.

This sounds like an interesting idea. Didn't Apple at one point have something like this? I vaguely recall mention of it somewhere. Andre Louis has something like this for Windows, and NVDA has a sound-scheme feature. Having said all that, I like VoiceOver as is and I'm wondering if this is something Apple would even consider. I mean, their plate is already full enough and perhaps even overflowing. But if they can pull it off, I'd definitely go for it.

This sounds cool and I would do it. I know there are legistics to consider but it would be interesting if this was an option in settings under sounds and haptics. It would present a whole myriad of options for different voices, sounds, ringtones, and various other alerts.`
