iOS and iPadOS Gaming
I just updated to the new DiceWorld on my 2022 iPhone SE running iOS 16.
Previously I have been testing the Dice World 20.02 updates as I am a beta tester from TestFlight.
I updated to 20.0 to the stable version.
I won’t update on my iPhone 6s Plus since I hope, for some reason, you can’t chapter people who use android and the latest Dice World update. I really do not know why.
My iPhone 6 will also not be upgrade the world, as apparently you need iOS 13.0 and above, which means you need.
An iPhone 6s on your running iOS, 13, or newer, an iPad, fifth-generation, iPad Air second generation, and iPad, mini four second generation, fourth generation, iPad mini and you are, and an iPod touch seventh generation running iOS 13.0 or iPadOS 13.0 or newer
You also need a MacBook or a Mac desktop with the Apple Silicon processor . Running macOS 11 point you’re a picture on your
Notes, there’s a massive design overhaul, including a new Social Centre, new computer players, as a complete design overhaul from the ground up. Maybe that’s why it took so long, nearly 2 years dammit. Two years dammit.
So what’s your opinion?

I like the overhauled…
I like the overhauled achievement system and the fact that they brought back game center integration. Not a fan of the new NPC's though and that they took some away. It'd be cool if you could unlock new ones by playing games and getting new ranks. Some mainstream games used to do this back in the day. Or... if they want to follow the modern mobile trend, make new characters purchaseable. Something else to use all those bonus rolls for. lol
I don't use the social features much though.
Also, if you like to FaceTime with who you playing with at the same time, it will kill your battery!
I also like the new update
I also like the new update. I like the timeline, the return of game centre integration, and the fact that we can choose to be a part of as many groups as possible, or to avoid the social side altogether.
inviting people to dice world
Hi, do you invite people to dice world?
I don't like it that much…
I don't like it that much but its ok. In my opinion its to much of swiping and some repetative info that isn't really needed. Example, it says bonus role and if you swipe back it says bonus role available. Don't think that's necessary. When viewing the current scores in a particular game it says player 2 profile right in between. Now if it was at the end that's fine. I do however like how they made the ternanents. Its easier to find what you want. I don't really play the computer characters but some of the new ones are funny. I hope they would add some new dice games in the future like toss up and monopoly and maybe snakes and ladders or skunk that's something like pig.
It's not bad!
The layout has certainly changed, but I do find that some of the sounds that play, specifically when selecting dice, getting bonus rolls, winning a game and others just sound off, like their kind of muffled or something.
Plus, the two-finger double tap to play a video doesn't work anymore, it just says "Video Not Ready Yet". Also, when you press the button to play the video, It appears that two videos are playing over each other.
I'm glad that they reintegrated Game Centre but there are a few bugs that were missed and not squashed. But I'm pretty sure that with feedback, the developer will correct these shortly.
Sound Quality and Custom Actions Concerns
I agree with @That Blind Canuck's observation regarding the degradation in sound quality of certain sounds in Dice World. Moreover, I have encountered instances where the custom actions assigned to the die selection button do not consistently select the entire set of dice. However, I have found a workaround for this issue, which is to triple tap the button to ensure the selection of the complete set.
Despite these concerns, I must emphasize that overall, this update has left a positive impression on me.
inviting people to dice world
Hi how do you do this. I don't see it anywhere.
"Hey there! If you're…
"Hey there! If you're looking to invite a specific player on Dice World, here are a few options you can try after selecting the 'New game' button:
These options should help you invite players and enjoy some exciting games on Dice World. Have fun gaming!"
sharing dice world with someone that doesn't have it?
Is there a way to do this and get notified if they join?
"Thanks for clarifying…
"Thanks for clarifying. Currently, you can't seem to invite people who haven't joined Dice World and get notified when they join. However, it would be a cool feature to have.
To share your idea, you can contact the developers through 'Game Settings > Contact Us.' Let them know about your suggestion—it could be considered for future updates.
Translation half done and half not
Hi, I am one of people who cooperated to translate Dice World into Italian and I'm unhappy to know that there are many translations missing and many others done with automated translator.
Honestly I feel like I've worked for nothing...
I at least expected someone to get in touch but I have heard no one for years.
There's a bug with balut…
There's a bug with balut. When you click on open spots, it doesn't show all the open spots. Not sure if that's a voice over issue because it red 4's, straight and balut. When I swiped down there was a spot opened in choice for me to score. Another thing is that its showing you everything and not the things you want. so it would read as an example, 4 on 4's 0 on 5's etc. I liked it the way it was before. Don't have the problem with it not selecting all the dice.
I just joined Dice World about a week ago so can't compare.
However, I can say that I love the app, and with the extra sound packs it's even cooler.
