work out app on watchOS

watchOS and Apple Watch Apps

Hello Apple, viz. Apple Watch users, I have a quick question about the workout app on my Apple Watch.
When I start at work out, it doesn’t matter which type it is, they could be a walking workout, indoor, or outdoor, or a cycling workout indoor or outdoor, my Apple Watch stays on the third page of the view. The second page of the view when I flipped right and left with two fingers, shows the calories burned And the length of the workout.
The first page, shows the lock, new and end buttons for the work out.
What I am wondering, as well, navigating page 2, or page 1, sometimes it will jump back to page 3 automatically. It’s almost as if you were on your homepage of your iPhone, and automatically it would jump to page 7, which would be the last page on your home screen. Is anybody found this issue annoying? I would rather it stay on the page that I asked to stay on and not be going to the third page, which is the play controls for anything on your iPhone. Has anyone found a workaround around this? Thank you.

Yes I've had this issue, and it would be better if it stayed on the same page.

When you're working out, you're typically moving, which makes it much harder to swipe back to the other pages when the thing has jumped back to page 3.

Hi Edward. You are absolutely right, but I have to tell you that this problem was solved for me with the update of WatchOS 9.4 (i haven't updated yet to 9.5 so tell me if this comes again with it in order not to update).

Now I can stay on the second page of my workout layout and can change to page 1 or 3 whenever i want, no when the watch wants.

look forward to your comments.

Regards.

This was a constant problem that was fixed for me in watch OS 9.4. I won't be updating again until I know for sure it hasn't returned with the latest release.

Sorry in my previous comment I wrote 9.4 and 9.5 when I was referring to watchOS 8.4 and 8.5 of course.
