installing windows 11 on VMware Fusion 13

Hi:

I'm trying to install Windows 11 with VMware Fusion. Since Windows 11 doesn't have an easy install option added to Fusion, I've found it necessary to follow the steps exactly. Even so, it appears I've missed something. Starting up the VM I get the message that cannot find a startup disc, and no operating system detected. Everything in the Virtual machine shows up as connected, including the iso in the virtual DVD Drive. I tried setting the startup disc to the windows 11 iso, but no luck. What am I missing?

That did explain a few things, though ultimately I gave up on installing Windows 11. I'm now trying to find out which windows features, if any, I should enable in a VM environment. This VM is primarily for gaming; if more games were available on Mac I wouldn't bother with a VM.

I’ve thought about Parallels, but the fact thatI would have to pay for it, when its basically inaccessible without workarounds, is a bit off-putting, especially since money’s tight right now. I should give it a chance though, once I get more practice in with VOCR. I’m running anIntel-based Mac, btw, so boot camp is,in theory, an option. However, when Iaskeda sighted peer to adjust the partition size, the windows partition refused to go above 92 gb, even though I had 138 gb of free storage. Are there any video tutorials for VOCR?
