You shut down your computer because of a problem.

So when I’m done using my computer, I press the power button to turn off, like completely turn off.
The next time I turn on, when it starts up, I got a message you shut down your computer, because of a problem, etc.
But I didn’t shut down my computer, because of a problem, I intentionally shut it down.
This doesn’t happen on my M1 MacBook Air.
MacBook Air, 2017.
Does anyone know what’s going on?

Shutting down a computer by just holding the power button until it goes completely dark/quiet has never been the way to really do it rightly. Even back in the early days of Windows, there was a joke that we had to "stop" the computer by first clicking the "start" button.
That in mind, I'd suggest not doing that to either Mac mentioned here, but instead using the "shutdown" menu item in the apple menu.

That happens when you hold the power button down for 5 seconds. There's a high risk of causing data loss when you do that. Don't do that. Just press the power button once to put it to sleep or press shut down from the apple menu to shut it down correctly

Here are the things that are weird about it so
That message doesn’t pop up on my MacBook Air M1, and I press the power button to shut it down all the time.
I don’t know if this appears on my 2012 MacBook Pro as it is currently getting windows installed on it by somebody else and the memory and more memory installed.
And the only accessory I have connected is my wired headphones connected to the headphone jack
I would never have my tutor but external hard drive connected on start-up, unless something is happening with the operating system to the point where I need to install macOS through a hard drive.
