When you can't even get past the opening screens that greet you the first time that you run the app ... well, you already know that there probably isn't too much point going any further. But, by toggling VoiceOver off and doing some random tapping on the screen I was able to get to a page where I could enter my Google credentials. Once done, the app did load my feeds, but there are so many custom gestures that it was a struggle to achieve anythign meaningful in terms of navigation (mostly by a double-tap and hold followed by some dragging of my finger across the screen). However, my residual vision told me that there were some buttons along the top of the screen, but no amount of coaxing would get VoiceOver to find them. Presumably these are the main controls for the app, so this really is a non-starter for VoiceOver users for now.

Some parts of the app are accessible with VoiceOver, but not enough to make it usable.

Version 14

Absolutely nothing has been improved or any kind of voice over accessibility has been implemented. As the original poster has suggested above. Upon opening the app for the first time should have been an indicatior this wasn't going to be good. Even if you could get past the first screen. It just goes down hill from here.

Version 15.0

With some glipse of hope. I saw the new v15 came out this evening and decided to give this a try.

Sadly, nothing has changed in any ways. The new v15 has still some serious hurdle before this will even become any where near being accessible. So with some hope down the road. We can only hope they will help us in making this app accessible for us to use.

Version 16.0.522

Were you hoping that this would be the one we all have been waiting for?!?!

Sorry this isn't it. It is still very difficult to use and to navigate. However, I did find that doing the single finger double tap and swipe up will get you through the introduction screens.

As you are on the main page to see all of your articles. You can do the same. Do the single finger double tap and swipe up to see more articles. However, Double tapping on the article still leads me to a very inaccessible page.

There are still to many things missing and that I can't do to make this usabble for myself.
