If you like games where you can explore your surroundings, plant and harvest crops, bye animals such as cows you can milk and chickens you can get eggs from, castle story is for you. This game is not very accessible, but it is playable. Although many of its buttons are not clearly labeled, you can press them, find out what they do, and label them appropriately. All the text, Such as the quest information, is perfectly readable. The only thing that's not accessible is clicking on the crops, animals, And terrain. There are sounds that let you know if you're doing anything. The cows moo when you milk them, you can hear the ax chopping down trees etc. If you have a high patience level or a high frustration tolerance, check out this game and a couple of the other ones as well from teamlava. I really would like our next campaign to be contacting these developers and asking that their games be made more accessible, since they are halfway accessible already.

Yes, I would also like to have the games from this developer in the next campaign. It would be really great because my friends always Play These games and I don't know what they're doing.

I think that the game is so popular that we are all going to have to contact the devs.
I would be interested in having improved accessibility for these games too, however I doubt if anything at all will come out of it. They have quite a uge playerbase and they meedn't do anything at all for just a few players. Lava studios is clocely (related)? if that's the right word to storm8 games, and as far as I have seen, they don't respond to accessibility suggestions,as well. Nothing wrong with trying,though....

Somehow I doubt we'll get any love from these guys, at least regarding accessibility. Tons of complaints regarding customer service.

That's for campaigns come in. This really should be our next campaign, and are also There are also ways to send messages to all your neighbors, so we can ask them to join the campaign is well. I think there are a lot of cited people who would help us out.

does this particular game dev have a website where they can be contacted? I enjoy playing games like the ones you just described, but, unfortunately, there just aren't that many yet.

I definitely would like to see this added to a campaign as I just downloaded this game and a couple others and they are, as mentioned above, all ready partially accessible and all we seem to need is the buttons labeled properly and something done with the terraine things for Castle Story anyway. I know some of my friends play some of these and it would make it more enjoyable for us to be able to more freely discuss the game instead of always trying to figure out what's going on. Thanks for suggesting a campaign for this developer!
First of all, I'm not exactly sure how to contact the developer. I'm sure there is a way though, and if nothing else we can leave reviews of the app store that they're sure to see. If were going to do that this campaign though, we really need to Courtnay. We need to get all the games that are playable… Castle Story, Zeus story, that shop story, and right on our neighbors walls, and ask them to do the same. It would be kind of like a chain letter… Asking everybody to Write a review in the app store, asking them to make it blind accessible, thanking them for the accessibility it has so far, and also asking them to write on their neighbors walls. It could be done. One thing I really don't want to lose in this game is the exploring element. I want to still be able to click on a crop harvested
Yes, I think the lava is sort of related to storm 8 games and I've downloaded several of storm 8 and found those to have very little if any accessibility to them. The idea of doing sort of a chain thing to get more blind/sighted people aware of the accessability issue is a good idea as a campaign thing as we need more games like the Castle Story where you can explore and do things...rpg or adventure type games.

Hi, Just wondering if anyone can do a podcast on how playable this game is? I'm usually good at figuring out interfaces and whatnot, but this one I can't seem to make heads or tales of. I hope Applevis allows for games to be reviewed even if they aren't completely playable/accessible.

You won't get very far with voice over turned on, that's for sure. It's good for reading the quests and things like that, but for actually getting on the map you have to have it off, and the only way you know you're doing anything is if your sound effects. I actually recommend starting with zoo story as opposed to Castle Story because there are more Sounds to work with. Every animal makes a sound. Of course, decorations like the carousel don't really make sounds except for when you collect from them, but that's alright. I also definitely recommend zooming out as far as possible. You do this by squeezing the map together with a voiceover turned off.
