macOS and Mac Apps

Hello everyone, I've got to create an android app for my Uni course, and I'm trying to use android studio on my mac. I can create the project, however I'm having trouble switching between XML files, and Cotlin files. Has anyone tried this? and does anyone know of a way to switch between windows in one application? I've tried command+tab, control+tab, and a few other shortcuts, but it's not doing what I wanted.

I believe the command for switching between windows of an app is command + ` (grave accent key).

I haven't used Android Studio on Mac enough to answer the other question, but hopefully someone is able to help out here for all our benefit.

Hello Tristo,
Command + [ and ] work to switch between open editors in all Intelaj ides. Android Studio seems to be the least accessible of the bunch.
I'm in the same position as you, need to develop an app for a course, have you been able to use the android simulator to test your apps? I'm just about to give up and buy an android device for testing.
