I'm not sure how possible this is, given the length of tweets applevis posts, but I was thinking... Since we now have a field for specifying the twitter username of app developers, what if the tweets announcing that an app has been submitted would mention the developers? I think this could probably improve awareness even more and may possibly make contacting people easier. I figure that most developers are interested to hear about their app, so if they see a site is mentioning it they will at least go take a look what it ays. If this can't be included in the current @applevis tweet s you could have yet another account. If you choose to do it that way, perhaps the wording of those tweets could be a bit different EG. @developername, your app, *appname* has been found to have accessibility issues. *insert link to app directory* thoughts?

Peter, Many thanks for the suggestion, as we are always looking at ways to further raise awareness of accessibility. As you may have seen, we generally tweet something along the lines of what you suggest when we do have the Twitter username for a developer. This, however, is done only after we have manually checked that the username submitted is correct. This approach also makes it easier for us to handle these tweets if a Twitter username is added after the entry is first submitted.
