Hello community and moderators
I’m here today to say something
And I hope you guys can listen
First, to the moderators
I’m deeply sorry and sincerely ashamed of myself for the drama that I have caused for the past couple of years on this platform,
I have learnt now, and I hope to be a vital part of this community
Being a part of this community, in my eyes, is allowing me, to learn more about iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, macOS, watchOS, hardware/accessories and up developers, different applications for the blinds, and new games
This community has taught me a lot about technology
And I hope that in the future with my experiences plus the community responses from here, I can teach the younger generation about, not only this website, but about Apple, android and Microsoft, the ways of computer, how are graphics card words how to program a CPU and how to build your own computer, how to troubleshoot your iPhone, and way way more
This community has taught me a lot
It has also made me grow up
And to the people that know me of this site, I’m trying,
Next to the rest of the community
I’m absolutely deep sleep ashamed and sorry about the drama that I have caused on this application
All I wanted to do is learn from the community members here, and post my own suggestions
I’ve met, some of the posts I have made here has gone way too far, and I regret that now
I regret going too far, I regret saying stuff I should’ve said, and most of all, I have hated being shut out
I’m young and getting there, I’ll get there in the future
But, everybody that rightNow is reading this post on their iPhones the iPad the android devices, chrome books or Windows computers or even Lennix interfaces
I’m sorry
I hope this community can/will/forgive me for the drama/trouble/negativity/stupidity I can put on this application platform, website onto the moderators here
And I hope that, in the future, I can help with any issues
If you guys want to privately contact me about this, you can use my contact form
And again, thank you for listening/reading/understanding, and have a good day
From Dominic

Hey Dominic. My memory isn’t good enough to know who are the trouble makers so I don’t remember if we’ve had run ins in the past but what I do know is that none of us are perfect and it takes a lot to recognise when we’ve made mistakes. Recognising when we haven’t represented ourselves well is a very hard thing to do and it must have taken a lot of courage. Living with sight loss is very stressful but living well with sight loss can only be reached by working on ourselves and part of that is seeing when we’ve not been our best. I very much hope that anyone you have had run ins accepts your apology and you can feel good that you got a little better today and keep building on that because essentially thats how we become better people, by working on ourselves and seeing things we might not want to. Ultimately you are the only thing you have full control over so when we recognise that it can make us more committed to doing the best we can with what we can control.

Well played, young man. I've been a university lecturer for twelve years and I teach postgraduate students who are older than you and who nevertheless don't seem capable of reflecting on themselves and their own development. So, good stuff.

Hi Dominic,

Thank you for your apology and for expressing your desire to move forward in a positive manner as a valued member of the AppleVis community. It takes a lot of courage to admit one's mistakes and take responsibility for them. Your commitment to learning from your experiences is admirable.

We appreciate your apology and hope that we can all put the past behind us and work towards building a supportive and inclusive community. We look forward to your future contributions and engagement in a respectful manner.

Thank you for reaching out and taking this step towards reconciliation.

David
