Has anyone used the Freestyle Libre 3 app

Hi,

As a diabetic I have recently upgraded to the Dexcom g7 from the g6 product.

To be honest I have issues with the new sensor and the app isn't the nicest to use.

My main issue with the app is that audio alerts are sent to the external speaker rather than to my MFI hearing aids.
This issue didn't happen with the g6 app.

As a result I can miss alerts in noisy environments.

So I was wondering if anyone has used the new Freestyle Libre 3 product and accompanying app and how have they found its accessibility.

If anyone is using MFI hearing aids with the app are alerts sent to the aids?

Thanks,

Tim

Hi, I used the free style libre app to test its accessibility and don't have good information for you. If you wanna rad information from the sensor, fine. You'll get information on the phone's screen and, if you enable an option in settings, VO will read it aloud. You will not be able to find out if the trend is positive or reverse. Many information i.e. daily and weekly trends are presented in the form of inaccessible graphs so that you may not be able to understand them. I've tried to send a screenshot to another app such as voicedream scanner or envisionand in this way I could partially understand the information. Blind and low vision in Poland reported accessibility issues and I encourage you to do that once you experience accessibility-related problems. Cheers!
