I have a student who has his Brailliant display paired to his iPhone. He is unable to type in any edit fields.
Is this a 16.3 bug?
Thank you.

Hello,

I don't see this problem on my BI 40X running firmware 2.0_build2197 paired to an iPhone 14 Pro running 16.3.1.

Is the firmware on the student's unit up to date? They fixed a lot of braille stability issues in the 2.x releases.

Also, if their phone is running anything less than iOS15, experience with Humanware devices is likely to be a frustrating experience.

Hello.
It seems like QuickNav may be turned on when it should be off. When in a text field, press space with q to toggle QuickNav. Even if VoiceOver indicates that you have turned it on, pressing the command agai nmay yield results. Good luck!

Hi, I have a Brailliant too and had experiedce this too.
When it happens I reconnect my Display to my iPhone.
If it doesn't helpes I restart both my iPhone and my Braille Display.
