App not available
It's saying this app is not available in my country or region. I'm in Australia. Is this only in specific countries?
Amp application and voiceover
Hi there, I don't really comment on here very often, but this post caught my attention. I've been using this app for a while now, so I thought I would add my two cents here for whatever it's worth.
As a voiceover user, the app is accessible, but the interface could be easier to navigate and use, especially on the main section of the app. From what I understand, you are presented with a list of show titles, along with the music that's currently playing, the tags, and the genre of the show. While all this information is readily available, it's difficult to tell what information corresponds to each show. The layout here is pretty confusing since the information seems to be in a table format of sorts. I'm not a creator, so I can't speak to that area in terms of accessibility, but it works quite well if you're a listener. If you already know the creator that you want to listen to, you're able to search for them and turn on the notifications so that you'll know when they go live on the app. There is no recording feature available at this time. When your show has ended, you can't go back and listen to it. There is a chat feature available, along with calling and messaging features. Creators can enable or disable these features during the show to meet their specifications. You are only able to have one caller on at a time. Supposedly, the call feature works best using the onboard microphones, but there might be an echo, so it's best to have your headphones nearby to see what works best for you.
Regarding this post, my only suggestion here is to add that the app, at least, for now, is only available in the US, along with opportunities to earn rewards via the Amp creator fund.
Other than waiting for the app to possibly become available in your country in the future, the only work around is to create an an American App Store account, then sign in with your Amazon account. Basically, create an American AppStore account using information from a public place. This is a free app, so you don't have to worry about monetary charges when you download the app. The drawback here is that, even though the App will show up on your main account, you'll probably still have to log into the American App Store account when you want to update it. I don't quite remember, but I think the way I solved this issue was to link both App Store accounts using the family sharing option. When I tried though, there was an error message, but it seems to be working now, so I have no clue what's happening there. I am able to update it without logging out. Maybe it's luck, or something else on my part. It's fairly new on the market, so maybe with more suggestions from the blind community, the accessibility features can be improved for the better since it's more or less still in the testing phases.

I am going to give this app a try, but my question is
I am going to give this app a try however, I have a question. If I were to do a live radio show, am I correct in assuming that they provide me with already licensed music that I could use to put into a playlist so I would not Have to use my privately owned music on my iPhone? Meaning, I would just pick my selection of songs from the collection that the app already has for creators.

You don't have to use music from your iPhone. You're correct! You're able to create playlists from licensed music already available on the app.

OK that is great. I will think about show titles etc. today. I think I will make my first show just an hour long to see how things go. I’m thinking of doing an oldies show or something type of music I like. What I am wondering now is if I can come over the microphone in between songs and talk a little bit? I’m sure I can and I’m sure this question. But I have been waiting for something like this to come along.
