I find that VLC is a great multi-format media player. I have it installed on my iPhone and personal laptop and it works beautifully.

The VLC app stands alone on IOS. VLC is a kind of open software that can be installed on any number of types of computers and OS, so keep it in mind if you do ever get a laptop or desktop.

Not quite sure how you'd play the music off of the iPhone in VLC. I just used it to play the occasional single file. I had VLC on my iPhone to play files off of Google Drive, but just noticed I removed it as I discovered that you could play those files directly within Google Drive and didn't need VLC anymore.

Although I don't use this player, I have a couple of thoughts that might help, anyway. First of all, if you have a Dropbox account, you might be able to push them through dropbox to the VLC player. Second, perhaps the Files app that we now have on the phones might be another way to get the media into the VLC player. Next, you might consider purchasing an SD card reader, with a lightning jack connector, and then using the SD card, the one that has the small chip, not the full sized holder style, and insert that card into the SD card reader, then you will be able to read from that card, and import the files into the files app, or perhaps into dropbox or the VLC player. Finally, since you don't have access to a PC, using iTunes to push them onto your device doesn't work. Hopefully you can sort this out soon.
