App Switcher Question

Is there a way to go from editing apps in the App Switcher, back to choosing an app to switch to? For example, I'll have a bunch of apps in the switcher. I'll open it by double clicking the Home button. I'll double tap and hold on an app I want to remove from the switcher. Once it gives the little tone, I double tap the app to remove it. I can continue removing apps by flicking to them and double tapping. But, what if I want to stop removing apps, and switch to one of the other apps currently in the switcher? Do I have to exit the App Switcher, and then re-enter it again, or is there a way to switch modes directly?

Yes! When you are editing the apps simply press the home button once to return to the standard app switcher.

You will have to exit the app switcher before you can open a app in the switcher.

The other two posters are correct. When I am in the close app mode, and hit the Home key once, I'm back to app switching mode. I'm not sure how I missed that, since it seems intuitive and logical.
