Greetings all,
I noticed that with the standard version of parallels you can either buy a stand alone license for $129 or you can pay $99 for a yearly license. My question is, is it worth it to buy the yearly version or is the one time purchase okay to buy? I ask because unless they add accessibility I am not sure what the real advantage of the yearly license would be.
Another reason I ask is that I was looking at a vmware player tutorial and man it looks to be a real headache to get windows 11 on arm installed with it.
Thanks,
Greg

Hopefully answering your question
Hey there, the benefit of the subscription is that you get all future yearly upgrades. With the stand-alone, you'd have to pay a price to upgrade to the next major version, and the one after that, and so on. Also, with the subscription, you get technical support the entire duration of your subscription, and you have to pay for support after a certain time with the stand alone. Personally, I have the subscription.
