I'm in the process of studying for my college finals.
I need to review my textbook & since its long, I decided to put it on my phone & have Voice Dream Reader read it to me.
When it got to an important part, such as a term I may need to remember for the test, I'd highlight it which is fairly easy to do with this app.
The app reads my book well but where I'm running into issues is selecting text. the app seems to only be letting me select a single word but I need to be able to select full sentences.
If I try using the 3-finger swipe gesture, Voice over's focus goes somewhere else in the book entirely, although, I think Its relatively close to where I'm trying to select from to begin with.
Has anyone seen this & might be able to tell me how to work around this?
I have an iPhone 13 pro max running today's release candidate of iOS16.2.

I can't reproduce this
I don't seem to be having any trouble with this. First, make sure you're doing it right, since it's a bit weird. Go to the selection control and double tap it. Then either select by word or three finger swipe for sentences. Then double tap again to get options for what to do with the selected text.
If you're doing that, the only thing I can suggest is writing to the Voice Dream author.
