I am trying to get started on moving more. I mostly sit. I have a series four that is dying. the battery is about toast. I want a series eight apple watch so it can track my oxygen and such but I cannot afford one. I don't know what to do there but charge my series four till i cant but in the meantime. are there any apps for morbidly obese people to get them started? that are accessible. My thing is this all these apps say they are going to help but they are for people who only want to lose oh five ten pounds. No, I need to lose a couple hundred. and it hurts so bad to even walk. So I need ideas and help reminders to move ideas to get me moving more. places to start moving so I don't hurt so bad in my back and lymphedemic legs that I just give up. Also the diet apps often cost a lot for what they offer. I want an app that people who are dependent on the government for money can use and get the help they need as well as someone with money to spare. I don't want bariatric surgery for all the problems it can cause. so any ideas. are there cheaper wearables that talk like the apple watch I had a fit bit but thats unusable.

I realize your watch is toast but there's always a sale around now with at least fifty bucks off. so trade in your four, get another say twenty five. I'd ask for gift cards for like amazon for Xmas to get you up to speed. I also joined e-rewards, I'd be happy to send you a link. You take surveys earning cash that amounts to gift cards for things like that, Uber, restaurants etc. If you don't get a survey, you still earn a quarter. As for moving more which is your point, make up your own exercise routene. For example, I just stood up, waving my arms around and jumpign in place but not leaving the ground. I'd squat and stand, etc until the show came back on. I'm up to 10% of my goal just for that. I realize you have a hard time walking, so maybe do something with a water bottle in each hand and raise and lower your arms until you feel stronger. Also when trading in your watch, if you have working electronics or non working ones, they'll take all of that probably giving you a little bit in value. I say they as in amazon, best buy, walmart etc. sorry I'm not much more help, I just got the series eight a week ago. Feel free to contact me off here if you want support.

One idea is to turn on the built-in stand alerts. They are helpful for encouraging you to move around more. I was shocked at how long I would go without getting up when working.

Pretty sure they're on by default unless you've turned them off. I didn't realize I didn't exercise as much so as I said in the message I sent, I do odd looking things just to do something. In fact it told me I was very active for that time of day when I did them.

Would a recumbent style of stationary bike be useful?
A recumbent bicycle is a bicycle that places the rider in a laid-back reclining position, and they typically have a wider seat.

Really, any low impact form of exercise is better than none. Any movement is better than nothing. House work like vacuuming counts as well.

Do you have a friend who is sighted who can describe exercise positions to you, go for a walk or a swim with, or join a yoga class with?
Involving someone else in your routine might help keep you motivated.

Here's a good article I found.

What is your diet like? Exercise is only one part of a healthy lifestyle.

As another posted said, look for the sale. I like Aaptiv.
