Hi,
I just want you to know you’re not alone in this.
90% of the time, I’m not able to make this gesture work on the watch.
Does anyone have any tips for making it work?

Using 2 fingers together, turn clock and will work. It takes practice.I use thumb and middle finger. Just the tip of both fingers. Hope it will work for you.

thanks for the help, I think the screen is so small I am having trouble. I only bought the 41mm model. i'm happy seeing as I knew the larger screenwould be to big for my wrist. Thanks anyway.

Sane here. I got the series 7. It takes practice but eventually you do it. It is a major pain.

I'm trying to stay in contact with Apple about changing some of their gestures to more closely match those of the Amazon Fire Tablet. I think the jog-wheel gesture used there, double-tapping and holding while drawing in consentric circles--might work well for this task on smaller screens. as a brand new Apple watch owner, I'm also having trouble opening the notifications with two fingers down/control center with two fingers up. I have a bit bigger screen, stainless steel--by the way. However, just swiping on the watch face/home screen with a single finger seems to work all right. I have Watch OS 6 and an older watch, possibly version two/dropped out of circulation.
