Hello to all,
I just aquired a new Iphone 14 yesterday, and I have been playing with different ways of doing things.
However, one thing that I would like to know more about from a blindness perspective is the mail app.
For example, what is the quick ways to navigate multiple accounts?
How do you customize notifications to hear sounds, and have the mail app tell you how many messages you have? It shows me as having no new mail, yet clearly there are messages unread.
What are ways to have different contacts or different people have different notofications, even if there messages are in different folders?

All Inboxes is your friend for accessing multiple accounts. There isn't a way to do the last things you asked about. The unread thing is something we've had going back to 15. You can mark people as VIP and that will put them in a special mailbox, but Mail only has one notification sound.

ipad and mail
One quick question regarding the Ipad and mail, how do you view the list of messages, without ending up in a message?

Your mail will be divided into containers. Make sure that is enabled on your VoiceOver in Settings, Accessibility, VoiceOver, and Roter. Then in mail, use the roter and the containers heading to go between the list of messages and the message itself.

Nice! Thank you so much! I do have an off-topic question though. I want to be able to do voiceOver videos, using both IOS and Ipad. Is there any way to do this so that I can record Voiceover?

Not easily
If you have a computer, this would be a lot easier. The only way I've gotten VO to transmit is to enable Original Sound in the Zoom settings and then turn it on while in a call. Using the speaker, VO will not cancel out.

So I would start a meeting, bring the device with Voiceover in to it, and then recording? Last time I tried this, I could not get Voiceover to come through, at least not clearly. Hmm.
