SO, the latest version of Fusion Player is out. My question is, how do I update? The learn more button is the default, but going there takes me to the store page, and I don't see a way to update. How do I update? I have fusion 12, and when i try to download the latest version, 12 is what shows up.

If it's for personal use, you can get a free license.
You can follow the prompt after having downloaded the fusion trial from the VMware site, although you can't do it from the update dialog or the store page.

when I click the manually download button, no popup appears. I get all the way to the application itself, where the same update dialogue appears.

That's strange.
What I did was download the DMG of the trial from VMware's site, then I removed fusion 12 and copied in fusion 13.
Then I followed the prompts in fusion 13 to get the free license for personal use.
Do make sure to have a backup though, in case you want to revert for some reason.
You need a my VMware account to get the license. For some reason it didn't want to update my profile from within the registration page, so I had to do that on the my VMware site, then try the registration again.

thanks everyone for the help, What I ended up doing was downloading the trial, registering and then copying the licensese key into the trial version. Thanks again for all the help.
