Filling Out Email and Password Fields in Parallels Desktop Using VOCR

I am a terrible Mac user, but I like the idea of setting up a virtual machine on my seldom-used Mac. I found Parallels and VOCR. Everything went relatively smoothly until I was asked to sign in with my Parallels email and password. (I set this up on the Parallels web site.) I am properly positioned to just type in my email address but I can't figure out for the life of me how to find and access the password field. My password jut appears after my email address.
If someone knows how to do this, I would really like to know. Please be as specific as you can be because as I said, I am a terrible Mac user. Thanks.

Hi. I just installed parallels today, but instead of using email, I sign in with my Google account. That said, pressing tab after you enter your email address should get you to the password field. If you can’t figure it out, shoot me an email and I’d be more than happy to try to help you further. Cheers!

Hello again. When you’re using VOCR and you hear the password field, try pressing VO+Shift+Space Which simulates a mouse click. Then you should be able to enter your password into the field. HTH

Tab doesn't work. I also tried clicking with vo+shift+spacebar on password. I even tried going right with VOCR on password and then pressing Vo+shift+spacebar which didn't seem to do anything. The cursor is not moving because my password appears after my email.

Hey Rill. Just try VMware fusion… Here’s the link!
https://www.vmware.com/go/getfusion
If that works for you, contact parallels and explain your situation… They should refund you. Happy Thanksgiving!🤠

Vmware fusion is fully accessible. I won't go for parallels for this very reason, its just not worth it, imo, plus vmware fusion is what i'm used to.

I have taken your suggestion and downloaded VmWare Fusion. It wants me to register to get a free license key since I am just using this for personal use. However, I cannot get the registration form to complete and get the key. I've been using computers for decades and I have never had such a frustrating experience. I appreciate your help.

I could fill in the registration form without any problems, but I needed help to confirm the address. I didn't try with crome though. Try with another web browser that isn't safari, or if not, after all fields in the registration form have been filled out, if your asked to confirm your address and cant do it with safari or any other web browser, ask for sighted help. For some reason, voiceover doesn't see the confirm address in safari.

That issue in Safari is a perfect example of a particularly bad VoiceOver bug that doesn't allow static text in ARIA modals to be read at all, and as of recently even pressing Tab is no workaround. Along with difficulty reading tables, in fact this is a great argument for setting up and using Chrome, which though it has issues of its own, does at least allow you to workaround this. Ironically VOCR may also be a help here, or using ChromeVox. Insane, but of course that's why all Mac users run Windows ...
