Apple have just updated the Accessibility section of its website, and we are thrilled to announce that AppleVis is now listed there!
This area of Apple's website is used to provide information on the range of assistive technologies that come standard in Apple products. It also includes information on some independent resources where people can get further information and support, and this small list now includes AppleVis.
We would like to extend our gratitude to Apple for this recognition. Even more importantly, we would like to thank everybody who has contributed so much to our community over the past three years. All of you have helped to get us where we are … to the point where Apple itself recognises our value to blind and low vision users of their products.

apple updated accessibility
Thank You Apple and AppleVis
Hi. I, too, would like to extend my sincere gratitude to both AppleVis and Apple itself. I have only been registered on AppleVis for a few short months, but already I've learned a lot. Thank you Apple for not making us shell out hundreds of bucks, or downloading 3rd-party software, just to get the access which we deserve. In addition, thank you Apple for at least training some of your store employees on your assistive technology.
Yes, congratulations
I had forgotten that Applevis was now on the Apple accessibility web site. Also, I noticed about this post, and maybe all of them are that way, that the original post was last modified on "December 31, 1969.) Sorry, but is that a software glitch?
