I recently updated to IOS 16.1 on my iPhone 12. I am no longer able to like facebook posts with a single finger flick. It just doesn't show up as an option. I can click into a post to like it, but don't have the option on the main screen. Other options are available, like hiding the post or generating a photo description. I am also using the latest version of Facebook. I use VoiceOver. Has anyone else encountered this, and if so, is there a fix? Thanks. I can't tell if this is a VoiceOver issue or unrelated.

Hi.
This is a bug caused by Facebook on the server side.
So you can't do anything but wait until they fix it.
Off course, you can report the issue.
I had this issue a few weeks, and at a random time, liking and reactions came back.
You can go into a post, and like it from there though.
But inefficient it is.
FIX
i found a fix that worked for me you wont to log out of facebook then install and open messenger then it should let you log into messenger do that then log into facebook

One of the strangest things I find about how facebook operates is randomly these bugs will pop up rather the user updates the app or not. I mean why continue to release app updates claiming to fix bugs when you don't even have to update to start experienceing bugs? If they are doing something on the back end to cause these bugs then what exactly are the app updates for?
