Problem with MBraille and direct touch

Hello,

I've just installed MBraille and would like to use it, but even when I'm in direct touch and try to interact with the keyboard, I somehow manage to involuntarily perform certain VoiceOver gestures that are not in direct touch (like magic tap, clicking notifications etc.)

Could anyone explain me how to overcome this problem?
Thank you.

I do not know what version of iOS you are using, but I am having no problems. A couple of things you may try and making sure that direct touch is always enabled in the MBraille app. I know you said you had it enabled, but I do not know if you mean in the roter or went into it in MBraille and made sure direct touch was always enabled for this app. Another option you might try is re-calibrating the dots in MBraille. I think you can find out how in the help section of the app. I do not know if either of these options will work, but that is all I can think of for now.

Hi,
1. Make sure you are not using IOS 16.0. IOS 15 is fine, and IOS 16.02 and 16.03 are good. 16.0 had a bug.
2. I actually just dealt with this problem after buying a new phone. If you are typing in away mode, I think it is much better for your phone to be in a case. For me, with an Iphone 13 mini, my palms were inadvertently touching the screen and creating the behavior you describe. A case fixed the problem, as it keeps my palms away from the screen.
3. I think sometimes when I activate MBraille I first touch the screen with one finger to make sure direct touch is working, then do a 3 finger swipe up to clear the buffer. Not sure this is necessary, it is just something I have fallen into the habit of doing. It may help.

It finally works after updating. I purchased it and I tried to use the third-party keyboard in whatsapp, but it doesn't seem to work: I see direct touch area (direct touch is enabled for MBraille, by the way, only from the rotor, and I cannot find any other setting in the app regarding direct touch), and I see next keyboard button and I cannot use the MBraille part at all, even if it's in direct touch and WhatsApp, for example, isn't. Could you explain how to solve this issue? Thank you very much!

Strangely, when in portrait mode, direct touch works fine and I can calibrate the dots. But in landscape mode... it doesn't work at all. Does this mean I cannot use the keyboard in away mode?
