Hi all, the short question.
If I use airplay, to stream from my iPhone or iPad using the britbox app to an apple TV device, would the video stream and not just present a "still photo" of the currently streaming program?
Long question for context.
In the UK, we have an app called britbox which I enjoy watching audio description content using my iPhone or iPad. However, the audio description is only available on phones and tablets. I have discovered though, that if I airplay from my phone to our sky box, audio description can be heard. The only downside is that it just shows a still picture of the currently streaming program. This was pointed out to me by someone sighted.
Hense my enquiring, would an Apple TV stream the video as well as the audio with the britbox app through airplay as the workaround?
I have tried an amazon firestick, but that OS doesn't contain the audio description track when watching through the britbox app on the amazon app store. I'm guessing that Google chromecast is out of the question as well.
Tried asking apple support but didn't really get a direct answer which is why I am enquiring here.
Hope everyone is having a pleasant day.

What's the difference.
Between britbox and say, netflix?
Is it just that britbox focuses on british shows?
We have it in Australia as…
We have it in Australia as well.
It even has Classic Doctor Who, as for anything being described on there I wouldn't know.
AD isn't always world wide, which is why I think we should stop depending on services to provide AD in the first place.
They keep messing it up.
