Hello All,
Based on what I've seen on other posts, Messages seems to be a tricky area for a lot of people. I have put in Messages bugs to the main Accessibility Bugs post a few times (VO stuck in a loop at the top, and a bunch of Memoji bugs etc) but one bug that's been driving me crazy ist the Send button won't always show up next to the message!
Here are some more details. When I enter the Message field, there is the icon next to it that says either "Imessage" or Text Message" depending on who you're sending to, and then the dictate button, right? Then when I to type in text into this field and grope for the Send Button, sometimes, it won't be there! Neither will the imessage and dictate icons! VO will just go straight to the Photos button! In normal cases, I could just press the Enter key my braille display, but now, due to the Braille-Display-Enter-Key-not-working bug (which is also driving me crazy), I have to use the option key first, which also doubles as the New Line key in a message field, so that's out of the question. When this bug presents itself, I usually cut the text, send it to my iPad via airDrop, and send it from my iPad, but this could be tedious sometimes. has anyone experienced this and if so, do you know of a workaround?

Sad but true. I email Apple about also restoring the audio recording. Now you have to press apps and slide to audio and open and slide all to the end to record.
alternatives for now to circumvent the bug
@1, if you want to dictate, and the text field for writing a message is open, do a two finger double tap to automatically start and stop dictation without having to look for the button. As for the sending button not working, switch to braille screen input, and do a three finger swipe up, this will cause the message to send without having to look and press the send button.
Memoji bugs.
I have experienced the bugs with the memojis. VO getting stuck with swiping, but it can be circumvented with just exploring the screen with my finger. Still annoying. I don't know if this is a new bug or an old one though, since I just got an iPhone that supports memoji's recently. Either way, iOS 16 has been pretty buggy to start. Not as bad as iOS 8 for example, that was probably the worst, but still a lot of things to fix.
Re memoji bugs
Glad to know somebody has that. It's annoying because I use Memojis alot and I also edit them so that I can get a different face on a facetime call sometimes. So yeah... I hope that gets fixed.
