Hi, I had download TrueCaller and loved the idea of it, but when I downloaded it, there was a ton of accessibility issues with it. The app entry on here said it was fully accessible, so I downloaded it. any suggestions for similar apps that do the exact same thing?

There are other apps, but I was getting scam call after scam call with Hiya and since I managed to make my way through the accessibility issues, I haven’t got a single one that causes my phone to ring. It’s usable, but yes, I’ve let them know about the unlabeled buttons, as they apparently just rewrote the app, and didn’t test for accessibility issues, but it’s sort of a set it and forget it thing once you turn everything on. you really just turn everything on, and there’s nothing to update, especially if you go with the premium plan which I got on. I did email their support though letting them know as I said that their app needed work with voiceover.

My apologies. This app used to be very accessible, but based on what I've been hearing it has severely declined. I will change the rating accordingly.
I recommend YouMail. It's what I have been using for over a year now. It's very accessible.

I am the one who posted the entry and, of course, no sooner do I post it then the company decides to make a liar out of me. I also have e-mailed them regarding their accessibility issues, but I suspect they will go the way of so many other companies lately and ignore

I am with T-Mobile and Scam Shield is part of our plan. If you are not, you can use whatever your carrier has. I think they charge extra, but T-Mobile does not.

When I was with Sprint, UMail worked flawlessly, so if you are comfortable with that, stick with it. If you're not happy with it, check with your carrier to see what they offer.

I've tried several robocall blocking apps, and this one is the best I've tried. It's fully accessible, and if you find an accessibility issue, like I did a couple of months ago, you can contact them, and they'll fix it quickly. I also like the features it has to offer. The call blocking works well, and so does the visual voicemail.
