Here is an interesting…
Here is an interesting website for downloading YouTube videos on the Mac: https://youtubeto.org/en/ If you want to download anything else on your Mac such as podcasts try going to a website such as: https://support.freedomscientific.com/About/FSCast/LegacyListing. Press enter on the episode you want to listen to, then press VO+right arrow until you hear Voiceover say: "Show more media controls." Press VO+spacebar and a context menu will pop up. Press up arrow until you hear "Download media download."
Hope this helps.
Well, anything is…
Well, anything is downloadable I believe. The idea of IDM is that you can resume the downloads and it claims to increase download speed. For the Mac, I have not come across something like that, and I believe you may not need any app that does the same. Safari can resume downloads already and with fast internet speed these days I think you are good to go without IDM.
something like daily motion
Thanks so much for your ideas, however, am downloading series to be able to watch them offline,
i found them on a site called Daily motion, but do not want to download each episode, so, they have a playlist link, can i use it to download all episodes?
Folx: Download Manager
I've not used it myself, but I've red that Folx: Download Manager is both good and accessible: https://www.mac-downloader.com
