Hello all.
I found out google calendar is removing the goal feature soon 😔 This is such a bummer for me.
Any suggestions for third party apps that allows me to schedule and keep track of my goals progress?

I recommend Tally, Kevin Chang Developer. Ensure that you get this one, as there are many other tally apps out there but don't work as well, according to my experience.

If you purchase the upgrade, then you can have as many tallies as you need. I don't recall the price, but not much.

For me, I really like this app because it has lots of flexibility. You create the tally and can have it count up/down, according to your preference. It can jump by other increments than one, if needed.

One of the biggest things I like about this app is that you can be creative with the title of the tally so that it keeps your goal right in front of you.

For example, I have one entitled, Samsung Wash Self Clean Every 40 Cycles 4. This tells me that, after every 40 loads, I run the self cleaning cycle. The number 4 at the end of the title tells me how many times I have completed this tally. I just update the title to reflect this, after I have completed the goal.

I use this tally to track my workouts, how many 32 ouncecups of water I consume daily, and so many more things. I can't recommend this high enough. It is one of my most prized apps, though it is such a simple app to use.

Hello. Could you please post the link for Tally?
I'm having trouble finding it. I'm interested in this as well! :-)
TIA!

Hey! First off, I get it! We've all been there! Hope you get it sorted out! The link worked great! You did great! :-) Only thing is, I'll I will have to wait until Oct. to get it, when I can get ipad-OS. 16. Once again, thank you Roxanne! :-)

Also, I love Agille Tortis! I use several apps by them, like Drafts 5!

If I may be so nosy, why are you waiting until iPad, in October? You can run this on any device.

Thanks for the app store link to Tally. Yes, this would serve my very purpose.
I will mis the google calendar goal feature so badly, it even automatically scheduled things for me.

Admittedly, I don't really need the native iOS calendar that we have, but perhaps this may serve your purposes, if you are actually trying to do some scheduling of appointments, etc. but it if is other things that you wish to keep track of, and you wish to count, the tally app will serve you very nicely.

Toward the end of this month, apparently they are going to be releasing a pro version of the Tally app, which will give you some slight additional capabilities, such as different sound sets. Personally, I'm not subscribing. I don't need it. That which I have is more than enough for me. I don't recall what else they said the pro edition was going to have.

Hello, Roxanne! I only have an Ipad. I don't have an Iphone. And when I went to the app, it said it required IOS 16. So, I can't get it until Oct. because that's when I'll be able to upgrade my Ipad. That's the only device I have. The get button is dimmed for it since I can't upgrade my Ipad yet. I hope to get a Mac one day, but, right now, it's not in the cards financially right now.

Gotcha. I suspected it was something like that. Come on October. LOL

Yeah! Tell me about it! lol It's such a tease hearing about all these nice new fancy schmancy bells and whistles that IOS 16 has now, and not being able to take advantage of them. I still get the podcasts so that when I can finally update, I'll have what I need.
I hope they do what Talley does what AdGuard does. In the sense where AdGuard has their free app where you can purchase a subscription, but, they also have their AdGuard Pro app, which costs $10 one-time purchase in USD. and you get every thing you would get if you were to pay monthly or yearly. That'd be nice. Because then, you'd accommidate quite a large budget and income scale. In all honesty, I wish more devs did whatAdGuard does in this sense. Because the $10 USD app still gets updates as well.
